How Media Stitch collects, uses, and protects personal information.
1. Who we are
Epic Tech AI (“we”) provides Media Stitch. Contact: epichtechai@gmail.com. Address: Western North Carolina, WNC Mountains.
2. Information we collect
Account data: name, email, password hashes, plan, billing identifiers (processed by payment providers).
Usage data: device type, browser, approximate location (IP-derived), pages viewed, feature usage, crash logs.
User Content: media files and project metadata you upload or generate (timelines, EDLs, scene structures).
Communications: support messages and form submissions.
3. How we use information
Provide, secure, and improve the Service; process stitches and AI scene analysis; authenticate users; bill subscriptions; send transactional email; detect abuse; comply with law.
4. AI processing
Media metadata and, where configured, media-derived signals may be sent to AI providers to generate scene plans. We configure providers not to train on your content where such controls are available. Avoid uploading highly sensitive personal data in media unless necessary.
5. Sharing
We share data with processors (hosting, storage, analytics, email, payments, AI APIs) under contracts. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information.
6. Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Media may be deleted when you delete projects or after plan-specific retention windows. Backups may persist for a limited time.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location (including GDPR/CCPA regions), you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of processing. Contact epichtechai@gmail.com. California residents may opt out of “sale”/“sharing” as defined by law — we do not sell personal information.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
10. International transfers
Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our processors operate. We use appropriate transfer mechanisms where required.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy and will post the new date above. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-product notice.
